Extensive’s consultancy helps clients to avoid common and often costly mistakes when selecting, installing and maintaining natural stone and ceramic materials. So that we remain in the forefront of knowledge regarding the treatment of stone, we regularly test new products as they become available. This enables us to undertake the most effective treatments and to recommend the most suitable maintenance products to our clients and their contractors.

| Care & Restoration |

the natural lustre and vitality of stone and ceramics can suffer rapid deterioration as a result of poor initial treatment and incorrect maintenance. Our expert team will carry out a site assessment and a series of tests on the material in question, which allows us to design a bespoke treatment programme. For new sites we recommend and carry out protection treatments to reduce the risk of problems whilst on sites that are already damaged, we specify and undertake a restoration programme, which we then follow-up with protective treatments. Once agreed with you, the Care or Restoration Programme is carried out by our own dedicated team.

any stone or ceramic surface needs looking after and it is vital that once an area has been restored future damage is avoided. We help you to achieve this by specifying the maintenance required, organising and carrying out comprehensive training of those responsible for routine maintenance and if necessary, undertaking periodic specialist maintenance using our own dedicated team. Typically, periodic maintenance is carried out at intervals of between one and four months. This not only maintains the appearance of the surface, but brings peace of mind to clients that future problems are much more likely to be avoided.
