Sealed with an Impregnating Sealer such as Stain Stop
For regular, routine maintenance use Easy Care in the washing water.
You need a couple of "golf ball sized" blobs in a bucket of water. Use a mop. No need to rinse with clean water. This is best done reasonably frequently as it is designed to maintain the floor rather than clean a very dirty one.
Periodically, perhaps once every 2 - 3 months, use Wexa in the washing water instead of Easy Care. This is a stronger cleaner that will "spruce up" any high traffic / highly stressed areas. You do need to rinse with clean water after using Wexa.
Although a riven stone will tend to hold the dirt more than a honed or polished one it is best not to use Wexa more than once per month on average. If you find that you need to use Wexa more frequently you should investigate the option of using a surface coating such as Multi Seal. See the instructions on can and on this site. Click here to go to the help section titled "Deep Clean and Seal an Old or Existing Floor".
You can also use Wexa if you have a spillage (perhaps a bottle of wine or a plate of roast dinner!)
Keep the impregnating sealer topped up as required, usually every 2 - 3 years. See "Deep CLean and Seal an Old or Existing Stone Floor".
