Cleaning and Sealing an Older or Existing Installation

Clean the stone with Wexa.

Refer to the section titled "Remove Staining or Marks from Tiles or Stone" at the beggining of this help system to address any specific problems there may be with your stone.

Leave to dry completely after any cleaning or stain removal.

To keep the colour of the stone as close to natural as possible use MN Stain Stop. Follow the instructions on this site and on the can.

Use only MN Stain Stop on polished granite or polished marble surfaces.

For more porous stones such as limestone, slate and sandstone or unpolished marble and granite you can use Stain Stop Plus to enhance the colour of the stone.

Wexa - 1L

Mild alkaline deep cleaner. Will not attack most sealers but will remove most wax layers. Safe for use on all stone. Can be used periodically as a maintenance product for a spring clean.
