Remove Old Wax Layers

This can usually be acheived with Lithofin Wax Off.

We advise testing a small area prior to purchasing the required full amount of product to check results and completing the whole floor.

Follow the instructions on the can and on this site.

Work in small areas - perhaps 2 - 8 M2 per session.

The product must be used undiluted on a dry stone. Scrub with a long handled, deck scrubbing brush. Keep the area wet with undiluted Wax Off and repeatedly scrub for 5 - 15 minutes as required.

Apply water which will make the Wax Off emulsify and turn white. Remove this residue. A wet vacuum cleaner is a very useful tool for removing the product and subsequent rinsing water.

Rinse with copious amounts of clean water. Repeat the rinsing process as many times as necessary to remove all traces of Wax Off - usually 3 - 4 rinses.
